We all know how modern technology is changing the way that we live but this is an interesting example of using technology to check whether developers are in breach of planning.
At a site in Cambridge local residents sent drones to spy on a site where, apparently, the developer was carrying out works, behind raised fences, which were in breach of a planning permission.
As a result of resident’s complaints, the Council threatened planning enforcement action.
You never need to climb a fence again if you want to see who is in breach of planning!
